Process Management
Water management is always about the bigger picture: next to considering the technical insights, involving stakeholders is crucial, collaborating with governments and leveraging local knowledge. Like no other, Acacia Water is able to connect different scales: from short to long term, from plot to country, from individual farmer to government.
The main reason policy doesn’t deliver result, is not the thought behind the policy itself, but often the implementation of the measure. Policy with the biggest impact is policy with practical knowledge in it. To make impact on the ground, measures must be practical and logical for all stakeholders. Process management is essential in the search for common ground.

Our experts know that a solution should not only work from a technical perspective but must have support from all parties involved. People-to-people conversations are a fundamental part of our process to arrive at the most sustainable solution.
We facilitate dialogue between stakeholders, helping to align interests and build trust. Through workshops, participatory planning, and joint field visits, we create shared ownership, thereby turning technical insights into supported, lasting impact. By learning from the farmers and community experiences and linking these local realities to broader policy and planning realities, we ensure that solutions are both context specific and eventually scalable.
It is through this communication, when practical knowledge meets technical expertise that sustainable water management is developed, resulting in interventions that are embraced by the users, supported by authorities, and resilient over time.
